Vegetable Stamps

These new vegetable stamps were published today, and I think they are nice.

When you buy a sheet of these stamps, you also get a sheet of eyes and mouths etc., and the idea is that you can customize your stamps by using these additional stickers.

- The stamps are nice, and the idea of the additions is funny, but I think that vegetables with eyes and mouths are quite ugly!

  1. LOVE the vegetable postage! I'm not a huge fan of the anthropomorphized vegetables, but I do love the the Finnish postal service seems to have a sense of humor :-)

  2. These are AMAZING! What a great sense of humor! In the USA there's a famous toy called Mr. Potato Head where you can put eyes, mouths, moustaches and ears on a potato - this reminds me of that. What a great way to engage kids with mail in a sense of fun!

  3. Oh, yes, I know Mr. and Mrs. Potato Head! I have seen them in Disney film Toy Story! :)
Thanks Ilona, this helps me to accept these additions to these stamps! :D
And I agree with both of you, I respect the Finnish Post because of their sense of humor and creativity!

  6. Here in Portugal we also have a huge variety of stamps, there are always new ones, I wished I could have one of the books that each mailman have with all the stamps to sell, must of the time I buy stamps but they sell me those them pick first, it's not my choices. Happily I guess all of them are very beautiful.
