When I posted about new Finnish fairy stamps http://sfimail.blogspot.com/2010/02/fairy-stamps.html, so both Melody and Ilona commented that they like them a lot, and that's why I was happy to use these stamps in the letters for them.

Peking Opera Roles
This card just arrived from Hsin-Yi. The card includes sixteen different stickers, which are faces of different roles in Chinese opera. Hsin-Yi has described some of the roles in the card.
So interesting, thank you a lot Hsin-Yi!
I like also the decoration around my name and address. Hsin-Yi: Is it a pen or some kind of a glue tube that you have used to make the blue and yellow decorations?

Lighthouse Door
This beautiful card came from PostMuse http://postmuse.blogspot.com/.
She had made it and the envelope of an old calendar of lighthouse doors.
Such a nice theme and a very beautiful result!
This again is the card I sent to her earlier.
I had taken a picture of the winter decoration on our front door and made the card of it and the envelope of a detail of it.

Gustav Klimt
This wonderful package arrived today from Ivana.
She had earlier sent me a card of a painting by Gustav Klimt http://sfimail.blogspot.com/2010/01/to-from-ivana.html which I liked a lot and told her that I would love to receive another Gustav Klimt card also, if possible.
Now she had found this booklet of 15 different Gustav Klimt cards to be sent to me!
This was such a wonderful surprise! Thank you so much Ivana!
This is the self made card (drawing ink and watercolor) I sent to her last time. - Her name Ivana should be recognized in this. :)

Almost 34 Years ago from Kenya!
This is a very special letter, I got it from Kenya in July 1976.
I was 15, going to be 16 in autumn, and saw a pen friend notification in a magazine about Fatma in Kenya, and sent her a letter, and she answered to me by this letter!
Our friendship via letters continued then about 5 years.
I had several pen friends all over the world when I was young (already then I loved letters!), but I always felt Fatma was the closest one to me. I have saved her letters, and when looking at them one evening it just came up to my mind to try to find her in Facebook, and I succeeded! We have now had a long chat in Facebook and I'm SO happy I found her again!!! It's really amazing!

Fox Card to Hsin-Yi
Hsin-Yi has just received this fox card from me. :)
The fox is one of the artworks of a Finnish card artist Reetta Isotupa-Siltanen. More of her beautiful and funny animal art can be seen in http://www.etsy.com/shop/joutomaa. She also has a very nice blog http://reettaisotupasiltanen.blogspot.com/.

Vegetable Stamps
These new vegetable stamps were published today, and I think they are nice.
When you buy a sheet of these stamps, you also get a sheet of eyes and mouths etc., and the idea is that you can customize your stamps by using these additional stickers.
- The stamps are nice, and the idea of the additions is funny, but I think that vegetables with eyes and mouths are quite ugly!

Swap-bot Letter from Australia
I got this nice looking letter in the Swap-bot swap "I love B.&W Postcards". And it doesn't only look nice, but it also feels nice, because it's all over covered by self-adhesive plastic!
I started to wonder, that is it actually permissible to cover the whole letter with plastic, because even postages can't be stamped then. - Of course the postages are then kind of canceled by the plastic, but still.
