Beautiful Art Card from Netherlands

I got this as a Postcrossing card from Lisette in Netherlands.
This is of a painting "Self-portrait" by a Dutch artist AnneMarie van Hooff, and I really like this a lot!!
I tried to google her other works but unfortunately couldn't find more than the page http://www.boskoopcreatief.nl/index.php?hfst=415

Wonderful Cat Card from Hsin-Yi

This interesting card came from Hsin-Yi. So far I have been able to count 10 cats in it!

I love Hsin-Yi's way to write the cards and to use also the Taiwan characters, which are very very beautiful! - Again Hsin-Yi it would be very nice to know what they mean here. :)
I left the explanation about cracking dish visible here, because it describes the original idea of the card, which is to celebrate New Year.

Below is the card I had earlier sent to Hsin-Yi. It is of the painting "A Woman reading" by Finnish artist Albert Edelfelt. I love the light in it.

I happened to have a stamp of another painting by Edelfelt, "Old woman with basket", to be used to send the card.

Self-made Postcrossing Card from Poland

This nice Postcrossing surprise came today from Dominika in Poland.

Thank you so much Dominika!

"Mauri Kunnas" Letter to Bianca

This is the letter which I for a while ago sent to Bianca. Now I was happy to see in her blog http://goodnightlittlespoon.blogspot.com/ that she had received it.
I made the envelope of one of the old calendar pictures by the Finnish cartoonist Mauri Kunnas http://www.maurikunnas.net/. - I have his calendar on our kitchen wall every year!

PostMuse

This beautiful envelope from PostMuse was today waiting for me in my mailbox!
Thank you PostMuse!!
I like the mailbox stamp and the personal address stamp.
"Letters mingle souls" postage is lovely, and because I adore polar bears, I'm also very happy of the polar bear postage!

Inside the envelope was this handmade card (not handmade by PostMuse this time) including many nice details!

The envelope and card below are the ones I sent her last time.
Inspired by her earlier delivery (http://sfimail.blogspot.com/2010/01/from-postmuse.html) I had made the card of an old calendar and decorated also the envelope with small details of the same calendar.

Marilyn Monroe Card

This card I have bought to be sent out, but I still have kept it by myself.
I admire pictures of Marilyn Monroe, does someone else?
This one is especially beautiful because of the artistic color and text additions.

Valentine's Day Card

Valentine's Day is "Ystävänpäivä" in Finnish. "Ystävä" is friend, and the direct translation of "Ystävänpäivä" is Friend's Day. So in Finland the Valentine's Day is nothing especial only for couples in love, but a day when friends pay attention to each others and send cards to each others. This one I sent to one of my friends in Finland.

Cat Letter to Ilona

I have been taking care of my friend's cat and I used him as a model when painting a quick aquarelle, which I placed on the envelope when sending a letter to Ilona (http://missivemaven.blogspot.com/).
To the letter sheet I printed three photos of the cat.

When writing the letter I used a nib in a dip pen and ink. I admire the beautiful handwriting in ink in the old letters and postcards. Of course my handwriting isn't like from old days, but still I would have wanted to get more beautiful mark with the ink. - Who could advice me to buy the best possible ink and nib for this purpose?

From Hsin-Yi

This special card came from Hsin-Yi.
The picture in the card is three-dimensional, which unfortunately can't be seen in this scanned version.

Both card and envelope are so nice!

Hsin-Yi: Thank you so much for this!
- By the way, what does the red text in the middle of the envelope mean?
