From Bruno

Today arrived the first letter from Bruno.
Thank you very much Bruno, I really enjoyed both receiving and reading your letter!

Quite a coincidence: In Bruno's blog http://postalartpress.blogspot.com/ I could see that my letter to him had arrived without stampings over the postages, and now also his letter arrived to me without stampings!

Handmade from Ella in Russia

This Postcrossing card just arrived from Ella in Russia. She has made it all by herself, also the drawings, which I for first glance thought were stampings! - This is so beautiful, and she says this is her first handmade card!

From China

I got this beautiful postcard as a thank you card from a Postcrosser in China.
The card is about the Double Ninth Festival, when people often climb to the hills or mountains to look far to the remoteness. - Very interesting!

Dog & Cat

As I like cats and dogs, I was very happy of these nice stamps used in a Postcrossing card from Texas!

To Bruno

This is my first letter to Bruno in Brazil.
I was surprised when I saw my letter in his blog http://postalartpress.blogspot.com/2010/07/rainy-mail-day.html, because Finnish Post had stamped the envelope in a very strange way: there were no stamps over the postages, only one stamp in the upper right corner of the envelope. - So the postages could now be reused!

As note paper I used blank paper which I decorated with water color to make different writing areas.

Schenley Park

This beautiful card arrived from PostMuse.
The card is Jim Trusilo's illustration about the Victorian glasshouse in Schenley Park in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.

I love the stamps and the way they are composed.

Ukiyo-e

This beautiful card came from Miwa in Japan.
The card is of an artwork by Utagawa Hiroshige, a Japanese ukiyo-e (woodblock print) artist.
Very interesting, thank you very much Miwa!

Weekend Mailbox

In Finland no letter post is delivered on weekend (Saturday and Sunday), only newspapers.
On countryside even the newspapers are on weekend not delivered to the personal mailboxes, but there are mailboxes where the newspapers of a couple of families living close to each other are delivered.
This one is the weekend mailbox of my parents in law.

Escher

This Escher envelope contains a letter from Bianca (http://www.goodnightlittlespoon.com/).
I love her letters and her wonderful way to make and decorate the envelopes!
