I was walking around today after we again got some new snow this morning. I could then witness the negligent result of the postman work with this mailbox: the newspapers were partly visible and then of course also covered by snow. - I hope these newspapers were not very important to the receiver. :)

From PostMuse
This beautiful postcard made of an old calendar arrived from PostMuse (http://postmuse.blogspot.com/).
She had made also the envelope of an old calendar.
I have also kept some old calendars for the same reason, but haven't yet done anything with them, and now this beautiful delivery really inspires me to start to use them!
I love vintage postages, and I really like the ones PostMuse has used on this envelope!
I had used these vintage Finnish stamps when sending a card earlier to her, and because also she loves vintage stamps, I'll select some other ones now for the next delivery to her! :)

To & From Ivana
I sent this Moomin card to my new friend Ivana (I posted about her in http://sfimail.blogspot.com/2010/01/postcrossing-miracle.html).
She had told that she likes Moomin cards, and I think this is one of the most beautiful. Finnish post has fortunately also published Moomin stamps, so I could use one of them here.
And this beautiful card I got back from her yesterday.
Czech seems to have many very beautiful stamps, and I'm happy that Ivana has selected different from the ones in the earlier card, so I have the possibility to see more of them!

This wonderful letter came today from Agnes http://dreamlandstation.blogspot.com/ as the delivery in the Swap-bot swap "Mail me a decorated envie".
Thank you so much Agnes!
I really like the envelope decorated by you and the letter written in a paper also designed by you!

Celebration Postage Stamps
I attended the "altered tin" swap in Swap-bot and sent my tin in this envelope with the sheet of stamps from year 2006. The sheet was published to celebrate the 150th birthday of Finnish postage stamp.
I like all sheets of different stamps, and just like most of the others, also this is very beautiful.

My "Second Mailbox"
I almost forgot to take a photo of my own second mailbox!!
When we bought a new mailbox, we placed this old one in to the corner of our yard, which at the same time is the corner of one of our neighbour's yard. So this mailbox isn't in normal use any more, but in private use for mailing between me and my dear neighbour Kirsi. :)
- As you can see of all the snow on it, it unfortunately hasn't been in very active use for a while.

Stamp Art
This is what I got when attending the "Handmade postage stamp covered postcards swap".
The idea was to make a postcard in the theme of postage stamps, and also several stamps should be used to send the card.
I really was happy to receive this stamp card!
I earlier posted about the card which I sent in the same swap http://sfimail.blogspot.com/2009/12/swap-bot-card.html

Postcrossing Miracle
I like Postcrossing, and once again I got something wonderful via it:
Ivana from Czech likes Finland and Finnish language, and she had just seen my profile in Postcrossing pages, and then she sent me a message suggesting that we could start to exchange cards with each others! So wonderful!
This is her first card to me.
Thank you so much Ivana!
