This beautiful letter arrived from Bianca in http://goodnightlittlespoon.blogspot.com/.
Thank you so much Bianca! Before we started to swap letters with each other I had already in your blog admired the wonderful envelopes you make. Now I know that also the content is so lovely!
Very beautiful indeed. I am curious about the stamps with the faces of people. What are them about? I'm sure they have a good message. I am always curious about stamps, since most of them show messages of important dates or celebration form each country, or art, I guess they are little pieces of art, that's why I fight so much to glue them in my letters as well :D
ReplyDeleteI recognize Colleen McCullough, she is an Australian author. I have read her book "Tim" more than 30 years ago, and I have also seen the TV miniseries based on her novel "The thorn birds", which is really lovely.
ReplyDeleteI am so silly, I didn't remember that I could click and enlarge the photo, and I as trying to read the names like if I was almost blind! I guess them all are writers. I heard about David Malouf, so the story behind it is simple, they are all great writers from Australia *laugh*. Excuse my distraction ans thank you for letting me know about Colleen McCullough, I know her too I realized now, once I almost bought "The Thorn Birds" from a collection but in the day I went to bought it it was already the day of a new book, I'm pretty used to this, happens all the time! **
ReplyDeletethat's such a cute looking letter! and exciting that the contents are just as good as the outsides :)
