Unbelievable!

I attended Ilona's giveaway http://www.missivemaven.com/2010/06/very-special-giveaway-rubber-stamps-and.html and was the happy winner.
Yesterday my package arrived and it was such an unbelievable feeling to open it and find all the wonderful giveaway stuff together with lovely surprises!!! I remember I had this same feeling when I was about six years old and my city aunt sent a package to our family which contained different beautiful surprises.
Thank you SO much Ilona!!! You are SO generous, and I got SO happy to receive this!

Brno - New Town Hall

This beautiful card of New Town Hall in Brno came from Ivana.

She writes she has attended a Postcrossing meeting in Brno, which sounds nice. - It would be interesting to hear more about Postcrossing meetings, because that's something I'm not familiar at all, though Postcrossing itself is also my hobby!

Edinburgh Mailbox

We spent a couple of days in Edinburgh, and I was just taking a photo of the British mailbox, when the postman came and started to empty the box, so I got a photo of that occasion also!

Royal Wedding

Today there was a big wedding in our neighbour country Sweden: Crown Princess Victoria and Daniel Westling got married.
I had a business trip in Sweden last week, and I bought there this card of the couple to be married, and sent it to my friend Ivana in Czech.

The beautiful wedding ceremony was broadcast live also by Finnish television, and I looked it together with my daughter. - It looked so romantic! :)

Green Nature

Inspired by the wonderful different green colors in our nature I by using watercolor and ink made this card to PostMuse.

I used watercolor also to the envelope, and my finger to get some texture into it. - So if my fingerprints will be needed, they can be found on this envelope! :)

To write the receiver information I used my alphabet rolling stamp, which I just ordered from Etsy. - It's lovely, but I for sure need some more practice in using it! :)

Postcrossing Card

I haven't been sending Postcrossing cards for a very long time.
Now I did it and am happy to start to wait for a card from someone!

Cats to Ilona

Ilona likes cats, and I was happy to find this beautiful cat card to be sent to her.

Ilona also loves fountain pens, and when I in Hamburg saw the wrapping paper with pictures of different fountain pens, I just had to buy it to make an envelope of it to her!

Alphonse Mucha

This beautiful card of and artwork by Alphonse Mucha arrived today from Ivana.
I love this, and I especially appreciate a Mucha card sent from Czech!

I had earlier sent this card of a Finnish archipelago view to Ivana to tempt her to travel to Finland :)
